A film-maker's
media workshop

Welcome to my portfolio. I am Gábor Tokodi, a cinematographer, camera operator and director dedicated to visual storytelling with clarity, depth, and technical precision.

Graduating from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, I began working in broadcast television during my studies. Over the past twenty years, that foundation has grown into a comprehensive career across national television, documentary film, and modern digital media. My portfolio includes international productions for broadcasters such as National Geographic and BBC Earth, and my work as a cinematographer has been recognized with three international festival awards, listed on the Awards page.

Modern production demands flexibility without compromising quality. By combining traditional filmmaking standards with contemporary media formats, our workflow allows us to capture both widescreen cinematic films and vertical digital content within a single, highly efficient production.

On my own and with my crew, I work in Budapest and the surrounding area, across Hungary and in many European countries, and I have filmed in South Africa, from Ethiopia through Mexico, and above the Arctic Circle. Wherever a project takes me, I bring the expertise and discipline required to execute it seamlessly.

Working languages: Hungarian and English.
