A film-maker's
media workshop

I am Gábor Tokodi, director of photography and director. I graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, and I was already working in television during my university years — so today I have more than twenty years of experience in television, film and social media.

I have worked on an eight-day National Geographic production and for BBC Earth. Three international festival awards are attached to films I shot — they are listed on the Awards page.

Every new trend interests me. I pick it up straight away and fold it into our existing system. That is why the long landscape film and the vertical content come out of the same shoot.

We run as a media workshop rather than a production house: everyone on the team freelances in the industry full time, and we form a crew per project. There is no standing overhead to pay for, so only as many people work on a job as the job needs.

The size adapts to the task: if a bigger crew is needed, I put it together; if one person is enough, I do it alone, because I handle the equipment myself. And if you already have a team, I join it and work the way you work.

We are based in Szentendre, just north of Budapest, and work across Hungary and many European countries — and we have filmed in South Africa, and from Ethiopia through Mexico to the Arctic Circle.
