Case study: how AI helps in corporate filming,
without a reshoot

A Hungarian company aimed its service at the international market, so together with their marketing team we made the company introduction film in English. The executives speak the language well and present the strength and precision of their business in a rich vocabulary. But English is not their mother tongue, and now and then a grammar slip creeps in. In live speech the listener glides over it. In corporate communications and in a corporate film, they do not.

The challenge

Why a film shot in a foreign language is a delicate job

A corporate introduction film is the few minutes a future partner, investor or foreign buyer will watch to judge you. In that setting only flawless counts as good. A wrong ending, a missing article or a misplaced stress sends one message at once: the precision is only in the copy.

Someone speaking a foreign language on camera has to watch more than pronunciation and vocabulary: small grammar points matter too. It usually goes very well, and still a slip happens now and then. On set it is barely noticeable. In the edit suite it is loud.

Then and now

Two years ago the fix was a cut or a reshoot

Two years ago a slip like this meant cutting out phrases or whole sentences. If the thought could not be left out, the worst case was organising another shooting day. That is a serious cost: crew, equipment, location, the interviewee's diary, and the deadline slips in the meantime.

Thanks to advanced AI tools, the solution is different today. The faulty phrase does not have to be shot again. Instead, we generate the corrected version from the interviewee's own voice.

The solution

How we fix the audio with AI, without a reshoot

01

Save the raw audio

We save at least 10 seconds of the interviewee's clean speech in raw format. The cleaner the recording, the better the sample.

02

Voice cloning

With a subscription AI tool we sample the interviewee's voice (voice clone).

03

Type the correct phrase

We type the correct phrase and generate it (text to speech).

04

Fine-tune the emphasis

With emphasis commands we help the generated part settle into its surroundings, so it sounds the way the interviewee would have said the sentence.

05

Blend it with a sound engineer

To make the fix undetectable, we put the raw audio back into the project and have a sound engineer blend it together.

The result

AI does not replace the specialist

It takes an editor's eye and a sound engineer's ear. The editor decides where the sentence can be cut so the join feels natural, and the sound engineer decides whether the generated and the real voice sit in the same space. AI does not replace the professionals. What it does is save the brand film from a reshoot.

  • no extra shooting day, no new crew and equipment cost
  • the interviewee's own voice stays, no stranger's voice in the film
  • the film does not slip, the deadline holds
  • the corrected phrase does not stand out in the edit, because the thought stays in
FAQ

What people ask about voice cloning and AI fixes

Can you hear that AI generated the phrase?

The aim is exactly that you cannot. Thanks to the fine-tuned emphasis and the sound engineer's blend, the generated part melts into its surroundings. We mix the raw audio back in, so the voice stays natural.

How much recording is needed to clone a voice?

We need at least 10 seconds of clean speech from the interviewee in raw format, without background noise. We pay special attention to this on set.

Does the interviewee know and approve?

Yes. The voice cloning is done with their own voice, with their knowledge and approval, and the corrected phrase goes back to them for checking.

Why not just reshoot?

A reshooting day costs crew, equipment and time, and you also have to fit the executives' diaries. Fixing a phrase or two this way is much faster and cheaper.

Can every mistake be fixed this way?

It works for short phrases, single words and grammar slips. If a whole scene does not work, it still has to be reshot. The editor and the sound engineer decide which case it is.

How much does an English-language corporate film cost?

The price depends on the length of the shoot, the location and the post-production. Send an email with your plans and we will send a concrete quote.

Large language models in practice

How artificial intelligence helps in everyday work

Large language models and AI audio tools are part of our everyday work. They do not take over the creative decisions. They help eliminate mistakes in corporate films. It is one of the best examples of how a new technology turns into real client value: a more accurate film, a lower cost and a safer deadline.

If you are a marketer, a PR lead or a company director preparing an introduction film for an international audience, talk to us before the shoot. That way we have a clean voice sample on the day, and if a fix is needed, it goes fast.
